"Marty,
For the past several years our family of seven have obtained names and addresses from anysoldier.com for military personal stationed in Iraq, Afghanistan and Naval Vessels located abroad. On a weekly basis the children and I write simple letters of our daily lives helping bring a smile and change of pace to those stationed abroad. This has been a wonderful experience to us all.

As you know this past week my hometown of Houston and surrounding areas was badly struck by Hurricane IKE. On Monday I received an email from one of "our soldiers" who has spent over 3 1/2 years in Iraq asking us if he needed to send a care package. On Wednesday of this week he asked if he needed to fly out to help us. My heart is so touched.

I just wanted to share with you.

Every now and then a unit will fall through the cracks and not get much or anything from supporters. It happens. Just so you know, we enter each and every update by hand, it isn't automatic, so we know right away when something is wrong. We notify TreatAnySoldier.com when a unit was missed and they send them care packages immediatly. This, along with your response, usually corrects this situation real quick.
